The Opportunity

We’re hiring a Senior Correspondent to lead reporting for OT.Today, covering the security of industrial systems, critical infrastructure, and nation-state threats.

This is a high-impact journalism role focused on:

• Breaking news

• Investigative reporting

• Deep source development

You’ll report on the systems that power energy, manufacturing, transportation, and national infrastructure—and the threats targeting them.

What You’ll Do

• Break news and develop original reporting on OT and critical infrastructure security

• Produce features, analysis, and explainers on complex technical and policy topics

• Build and cultivate sources across industry, government, and research communities

• Interview security leaders, researchers, and policymakers

• Contribute to multimedia content (video, podcasts, events)

• Represent ISMG at industry conferences and briefings

What We’re Looking For

• 5–10+ years of journalism or editorial experience

• Strong background in cybersecurity, enterprise technology, or national security reporting

• Proven ability to break news and develop original stories

• Excellent writing and interviewing skills

• Experience building and maintaining trusted sources

You do NOT need to be an OT expert on day one.
But you should be comfortable learning complex technical topics and reporting on them with authority.

Nice to have:

• Experience covering critical infrastructure, ICS/OT, or industrial systems

• Familiarity with security vendors, threat actors, and policy landscape
