The Opportunity
CIO.inc, ISMG’s media platform for CIOs and technology leaders, is seeking a Senior Correspondent & Managing Editor to lead high-impact editorial coverage across the APAC region and adjoining geographies, bringing a global lens to enterprise IT, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
This senior-level role is ideal for a journalist who thrives at the intersection of technology and business leadership. You'll drive executive engagement, thought leadership and community-building initiatives within the CIO and CISO ecosystem. The role combines editorial leadership with stakeholder management, content creation and event moderation—you’ll play a key role in sustaining a virtuous cycle of content creation, curating content feedback and enriching community forums where business transformation and technology advances are the organizing principle and objective.
What You'll Do
Provide direction and oversight to ISMG's APAC editorial team dedicated to content creation for CIO.inc.
Act as a deputy to ISMG's global editorial leader, coordinating on brand objectives, content strategy and team directives.
Create an engaging mix of news articles, thought leadership features, analysis/opinion pieces and executive interviews (text, audio and video).
Build and nurture relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and technology industry leaders to produce engaging and exclusive stories.
Host and moderate webinars, panel discussions, fireside chats and video interviews, both in live and taped settings, with stakeholders across industries and the APAC region.
Contribute to ISMG's editorial driven conferences, collaborating events and marketing teams on agenda planning and event execution.
Develop new programming and audience engagement initiatives that focus on business transformation and AI.
Stay up-to-date on enterprise tech, cybersecurity and regulatory trends to bring clarity and authority to our coverage.
What You Bring to the Table
7–10 years of experience in B2B journalism, ideally covering the CIO community, enterprise technology, cybersecurity and business IT.
Editorial leadership experience with exceptional writing and editing skills.
Excellent news judgment and ability to identify and separate compelling stories and trends from noise.
Strong communication that translates to interviewing, panel moderation, stakeholder management and coordination with ISMG business units and editorial team.
Understanding of enterprise technology, digital business transformation, and emerging technology trends.
An existing network of active relationships within the enterprise technology leadership community.
Ability to supervise editorial staff and coordinate with company leadership across time zones and competing priorities.

📍Location: Offices in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore (on-site Monday–Friday).
💰Salary Range: Negotiable dependent on experience level.
